Returns Policy

Barn Owl is dedicated to providing an excellent experience and this includes returns and refunds. If you aren't completely satisfied with your purchase, for any reason, you may return it to us for a refund or exchange within 45 days of the original delivery date.
Barn Owl Customer Support must be contacted prior to returning a full or partial order. Returns without an RMA authorization will not be accepted and are subject to return to sender. Barn Owl does not accept responsibility for damaged, lost, or stolen items returned without RMA authorization.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
All return and exchange requests must be initiated within 45 days of the original delivery date and must be completed by contacting Barn Owl Customer Support using the below information.

Requests will be processed during normal business hours of 9am-6pm EST/EDTMonday through Friday excluding holidays. Please do not submit more than one request within a 24 hour period. Once your request is processed, a prepaid return shipping label will be provided via email. This label will cover return shipping charges for your order, and must be used within 30 days of receipt or a 15% restocking fee will apply.
REFUNDS
Most refunds are processed Wednesday and Friday of each week excluding holidays. All returned items must be in new or like new condition with all original accessories (cables, SIM cards, SD cards, mounts, etc) included. The value of any missing item may be deducted from your total refund.
Barn Owl provides free 5-7 business day Ground shipping (UPS or USPS) on orders $200 or over. Shipping charges including orders under $200 or expedited delivery (2 Day Air or Overnight) are not refunded unless a shipping delay is caused by Barn Owl. We do not refund shipping charges due to circumstances beyond our control which includes, but is not limited to, severe weather, labor strikes, natural disasters, and shipping carrier events.
EXCEPTIONS
Cameras, solar panels, and complete camera bundles may be returned for refunds. Separate accessories purchases (batteries, SD memory cards, mounts, antennas, power cables, power adapters, lock boxes, and cable locks) are not eligible for return or refund. These items may be exchanged if defective. For defective or damaged products, please contact Barn Owl Customer Support using the below information.

WARRANTY
The standard two year limited hardware warranty covers camera and solar panel defects in material or workmanship under normal use during the warranty period, which begins on the date of package delivery and extends for two full years. Barn Owl will replace, at no charge to you, cameras and solar panels that prove defective after appropriate troubleshooting performed by a Customer Service Specialist. Replaced products assume the remaining warranty period of the original product, and do not have a renewed warranty.
The warranty does not cover malfunctions or damage not caused by defects in material or workmanship, theft, loss, or damage. Accessories are not covered by the warranty with exception of RAM Mounts which are covered by a lifetime warranty provided by the manufacturer. Loss or damage due to other causes than defects in material or workmanship, such as theft, loss, or damage, are covered by Barn Owl Care which is detailed here: https://barnowl.tech/pages/billing-policy
